Experienced conveyancing assistant wanted
Following last year’s Call for Evidence from the Department for Communities and Local Government, the government has published its response to the consultation with a summary of the feedback received together with ideas on how best to improve the home moving process.
The government received a significant number of suggestions as to the improvements which could be made and has stated that it aims to bring meaningful improvement through ‘smaller, incremental changes’ in three keys areas:
Proposals include strengthening enforcement of existing regulation of estate agents, the potential prohibition of referral fees, utilising of technology, and the implementation of reservation agreements.
